Arizona National Guard Foundation
Purpose and Activities.
AZNGF was formed in 2023 to support the mission of the Arizona National Guard while undertaking activities that are not within the State of Arizona’s limited scope of the Arizona National Guard’s statutory authority.
AZNGF seeks to support the families of the Arizona National Guard’s membership when guardsmen are deployed on missions directed by the State of Arizona. In connection with such family support, AZNGF will seek to raise funds to provide scholarships for the education of guardsmen and their family members.
Further, the State of Arizona’s National Guard is the designated state partner for the Republics of Kazakhstan and Oman under the United States Department of Defense State Partnership Program, a program that links a state’s National Guard with the armed forces, or equivalent, of a partner country in a cooperative, mutually beneficial relationship. The relationship with Oman is newly established.
